Will Buckley, CA – 2019 20 Under 40 Honoree

Career Highlights:

After pursuing a degree in accounting, Will spent the early years of his career in public and corporate accounting across public practice, corporate finance (M&A), commercial finance, and technology. In 2013, he founded buckleybrown, a 100% cloud accounting practice for small business owners in Australia. Will became head of finance for Xero’s Australian market in 2015, but has recently focused on scaling Xero across North America. With only 9% of Canadian small businesses using cloud accounting software, Will saw the massive opportunity for Xero to help Canadian small businesses and accountants take full advantage of the power of cloud technology. He led the charge to launch Xero in Canada in 2018 and became Xero’s first Canadian Director. Will was recently appointed Country Manager of Canada to drive growth throughout the region and accelerate key partner channels.
