What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

My work with nonprofit organizations extends well beyond his practice. He volunteers hundreds of hours annually and is especially dedicated to groups focused on opportunities for at-risk youth, including The Guardsmen, a group of professional men in San Francisco who work to send 2,500 children to summer camp programs and support them with more than 250 school scholarships. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Planned Giving Council, an organization dedicated to expanding philanthropy through charitable gift planning. I am also an active speaker and instructor for the AICPA and CalCPA.

What do you see yourself doing professionally in 10 years?

In 10 years, I will expect there will be dramatic changes to our profession and how we work and serve clients. I plan to prepare myself for the change and help lead BPM to become the firm of the future, so we can make sure we are making the right investments in our people and technology.
