In addition to the work in his firm, Josh is also an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University teaching accounting and entrepreneurship in the Farley Center for Entrepreneurship. The class that Josh co-teaches is designed for undergraduate students to learn about accounting to apply to their future entrepreneurial efforts. Josh also teaches at the University of Vermont in their Business of Craft Beer program. Josh is also the co-founder of Socially Beneficial Investments LLC, a company that helps provide housing and real estate to immigrants with partnerships with nonprofits to lead participants to home ownership.
Joshua Lance is the founder and Managing Director of Lance CPA Group, a virtual CPA firm that focuses on providing accounting and consulting services to craft breweries and digital agencies. Before venturing on his own with a mission to help small businesses, Josh spent his early career at Crowe LLP before working as a Controller at an ultra high net worth family office. In addition to running Lance CPA Group, Josh is the Head of Accounting a Practice Ignition. Josh also recently launched Table HR, a HR Consulting firm for the food and beverage industry. Josh was recently appointed to the Illinois CPA Society Board of Directors and the AICPA PCPS Executive Committee.
