Career highlights: Alice Cheng, CPA graduated Rutgers Business School in 2015 and completed her CPA exams the summer before starting at Deloitte Tax LLP in International Tax, then at IAC/InterActiveCorp (parent company of many popular brands including Investopedia, Match.com, Vimeo, Care.com). In 2015, she founded TaxDrop, a mobile app to connect CPAs and consumers/small businesses for more efficient communication and data-sharing processes (“Snap. Upload. Done.”). As TaxDrop developed the first iteration of the app and portal, TaxDrop was selected as a Featured Startup at TechCrunch Disrupt New York 2017 and successfully closed an equity crowdfunding round of investment on Republic.co. Today, Alice services hundreds of startups in the niche area of GAAP and SEC due diligence for equity crowdfunding. She looks forward to continuing the advancement of digitalization and efficiency in accounting and tax as the industry embraces modern times.
