What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?
Education and determination are important to me. My profession allows me to talk to my clients about their kids and their own education; I like to show them that education and determination are important pieces on being successful.
I am making a difference in my profession by sharing, teaching, and encouraging younger generations to dream and conquer. As an immigrant I appreciate the opportunity to communicate in both languages English and Spanish and help as many members of my community as possible. I can see myself getting involved in local and national events, sharing and educating tax topics, and hoping that my determination is good enough to inspire young professionals to do the same.
Favorite books/websites/podcasts/speakers:
- I enjoy books about tax topics, accounting books (especially my college books) for websites I find NATp’s website very informative, the IRS for Tax Pros, and CPA Practice Advisors.
- Kathy Morgan, EA, USTCP is one of the best Tax Speakers I know, she is one of my mentors and I find her a very influential person within the Tax Community.
