The COVID-19 pandemic has had a tremendous impact on every area of American life, from work and leisure to parenting and community involvement. It has caused unprecedented economic uncertainty, stock market volatility and sweeping new laws that underscore the need for ongoing planning.

To empower Americans with information and strategies to help them reach their financial goals, the AICPA is offering a free consumer webcast this Wednesday, October 21st from 1:00 to 2:00 PM ET. The webcast features CPA financial planner Jeffrey Levine, CPA/PFS talking through important year-end planning considerations for your retirement, investments, insurance, estate, and taxes in simple, easy-to-understand terms.

Year-end financial planning in a normal year can be difficult. This year, there are added complexities brought about by a pandemic and a Presidential election. With many pandemic-related relief programs expiring, changes in Congress on the horizon and the potential for a new administration in 2021, it is especially important to be aware of the year-end planning moves currently available to Americans to help them secure their financial future.
