Welcome to the new kid on the block. ProSystem fx Write-Up features
a comprehensive product including general ledger, comprehensive financial statements,
bank reconciliation, after-the-fact payroll, checkwriting, import and export
utilities, and integration with the ProSystem fx family of products,
including Tax, Engagement and Trial Balance products. ProSystem fx
Write-Up is built on the MSDE and .NET Microsoft specifications. This is sophisticated
technology.

As you might expect from a new product, ProSystem fx Write-Up is
receiving constant updates, revisions and additions. State payroll forms are
being added on an ongoing basis. Specific program additions scheduled for release
in December 2005 are printing of 1099s, ability to memorize transactions, department/division
reporting, and integration with ProSystem fx Tax individual returns.

LEARNING CURVE & EASE OF USE — 4 Stars
ProSystem fx Write-Up makes extensive use of wizards to quickly teach
the user how to accomplish necessary tasks, whether it be setup, data entry,
creation of custom financial statements, or import or export of data. The program
offers easy-to-understand menus and sub-menus.

REPORTING & FINANCIAL STATEMENTS — 4 Stars
Customizable financial statements are easily generated, and reports are easily
ported to Microsoft Excel. Functional financial statements provide the user
with the ability to uncover transactional details for any summary number. Reports
include chart of accounts, customer list, general ledger, trial balance, after-the
fact payroll reports and vendor list.

INTEGRATION, IMPORT/EXPORT & PRODUCTION PROCESSING — 4 Stars
Integration with the ProSystem fx family of products is exceptional,
as you would expect. Import from QuickBooks is directly supported via a built-in
QuickBooks import utility. Additionally, users may import data from any comma-
or tab-delimited source (such as Notepad, Word or Excel) to the Windows Clipboard
or from a comma- or tab-delimited ASCII text file. The whole process is wizard-driven,
which is helpful and NICE! A Creative Solutions Accounting Conversion Utility
is included, as well. However, no other competitor is afforded this “respect.”

SCALABILITY & PORTABILITY — 5 Stars
This is a very scalable product, designed with portability in mind. As noted
earlier, .NET is imbedded in ProSystem fx Write-Up. Clearly, this program
will have the ability to migrate to the Web as an online product, without the
need to be rewritten. Kudos to CCH!

SUPPORT, TRAINING & HELP SYSTEM — 4 Stars
CCH offers an online tutorial, in-depth CD-based tutorials, display context-sensitive
help, an online User Guide, command explanations and support via the web, as
well as live customer support.
