a term as an Executive Board member of The Ohio Society of CPAs, Tax Committee
member of the Ohio Society of CPAs, a member of the American Institute of CPAs,
and is on the Ohio University Accounting Advisory Board. She is also a member

What technology or business process does Megan see affecting the tax
and accounting profession in the next five years?
“Technology is going to continue to advance the tax and accounting profession
over the next five years. Over the past five years, we have seen an infusion
of technology into the tax and accounting professions, with the use of a computerized
CPA exam, electronic filing and electronic storage of workpapers in some accounting
firms. I think we will see a further increase in the use of technology to make
the tax and accounting profession more efficient and able to provide a more
quality product to our clients. It’s an exciting time to be a CPA.”
