What peers, clients and friends say about Pam:
Pam is very passionate about helping entrepreneurs run their businesses more
effectively through the use of financial information. It often seems foreign
to the small business owner and so her goal is to always help them understand
why using technology can provide them easy-to-understand financial information.
She takes it one step further and helps clients understand how that financial
data can impact the way that they run their business. She has a very unique
perspective compared to most accountants and wants her clients to understand
why the data tracking is important and what the information is telling them
about their business.
What technology or business process does Pam see affecting the tax
and accounting profession in the next five years?
“I think the biggest impact in the next five years will be the Internet
and the increasing amount of business done over the Internet. More businesses
are expanding their business plan to include sales all over the world. With
this opportunity brings a unique need to ensure that however they are tracking
their sales through the Internet can effectively be entwined with their accounting
documentation. In addition, more people are starting small side businesses on
the Internet only. These individuals have never previously had to deal with
the bookkeeping aspects, so we must ensure that they have an easy way to follow
the rules and that the appropriate data is tracked with ease.”
