Some of the biggest vendors in the tax and accounting profession presented exclusively to the 2012 Thought Leaders at this year's Thought Leader Symposium.
Feb. 21, 2012
The second annual CPA Practice Advisor Thought Leader Symposium brought this year’s top thought leaders in front of some of the biggest vendors in the tax and accounting profession.
Each vendor presented exclusively to the Thought Leaders, receiving immediate feedback and engaging in discussions about the issues that matter most to tax and accounting professions. Office Tools Professional, CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, Sage and Thomson Reuters shared their own thoughts about what’s in store for 2012 and what accountants really need to focus on. The Cloud, process, practice management, and customer needs were just some of the buzz words and phrases flying around during the presentations.
In addition to sharing their vision and strategy with the Thought Leaders, some of the vendors shared news of exciting things coming in the near future. Sage announced that they have partnered with the Girl Scouts of America to offer a mobile payment solution for Girl Scout cookies. Utilizing the credit card scanner, Girl Scouts can now accept credit cards in addition to cash for the popular cookies.
The Thought Leader Symposium ended with a post-conference discussion led by CPA Practice Advisor’s Executive Editor Darren Root, CPA.CITP.
