ARNE Mobile is an entirely new mobile app that offers on-the-go access to the Accountants’ Resource Network (ARNE), the popular Thomson Reuters online networking community designed exclusively for tax and accounting professionals. The community’s 50,000 users now have mobile access to a variety of the most popular features from the ARNE community forums, including the ability to:
- Browse and comment on the most recent ARNE forum activity
- Start a new discussion
- Mark posts as read
- Search the forum for a particular thread
The latest version of ARNE Mobile also includes a variety of functions designed for attendees of the 2011 Users’ Conference for Professional Tax & Accounting Firms. Attendees can now use their mobile devices to navigate the conference, including the ability to:
- View the conference agenda
- Look up speaker bios and product demo theater information
- View a personalized workshop schedule, including room numbers
- View hotel maps and UC photo galleries
- Upload entries to the Users’ Conference photo contest
Future versions of ARNE Mobile will include a wider variety of features from the ARNE online community, including access to blogs, articles, and other content. The free app is available for both iOS and Android mobile devices from the Apple® App Store and Google Play.
