Newly Enhanced NetClient CS

NetClient CS enables accountants to offer secure, private online portals to clients, through which they can access documents and software, download finished tax returns, exchange files in progress, and more via the firm’s website, from any Internet connection.
While Thomson Reuters has been offering portal technology for more than a decade, several major enhancements have made it easier to use and more mobile-friendly than ever before. For example, firms can now access NetClient CS from mobile devices like the Apple® iPad®, opening new collaboration capabilities. Other enhancements make it easier for firms and clients to collaborate online and make uploading and searching for files faster and easier.
Enhancements include:
- The ability for firms and clients to download, view, and manipulate files on mobile devices including the Apple iPad. This has made client visits and other meetings far more productive by putting firm data on a simple, unobtrusive device that doesn’t put a physical barrier between practitioners and clients.
- A new View Portal function that enables practitioners to see their clients’ view of online portals in real time, providing a simple, easy way to collaborate in real time and walk clients through the system.
- More precise control over which employees can view specific client portals and specific File Exchange folders.
- A more intuitive Home Dashboard that gives clients the ability to add, remove, and change the position of portlets and customize their client portal view.
- New integration with Practice CS® that allows practitioners to create NetClient CS portals directly from Practice CS, track file access, and create temporary portals for third parties.
