StoneTurn Group Names New Managing Director
StoneTurn Group, a forensic accounting, computer forensics, intellectual property, dispute consulting and antifraud and corruption consulting firm, recently announced the selection of Christine Davis, CPA as managing director. Davis has extensive experience as a testifying expert, forensic accountant, litigation consultant, controller, auditor for the Big Four and tax accountant. She is also an author of several published articles and a speaker.
Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro Announces Manager
Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, P.C., an accounting, auditing, tax and advisory services firm, recently promoted James C. Alexander, IV, CPA to the position of manager. In his new role, Alexander will prepare and review work papers and financial statements and report to the firm’s middle to upper management. Alexander graduated from Mercyhurst College with his bachelor’s Degree in accounting.
Gongos Research Appoints Vice President and Finance Manager
Debra Pomorski, CPA joined Gongos Research, a consumer research company, as Vice President of Finance & Administration and Cindy Boozer was promoted to finance manager. In her new role, Pomorski will be in charge of the company’s accounting, financial analysis, risk management and assessment of investments in technology.
Boozer has experience analyzing financial inputs, creating monthly and quarterly reports and working on compensation and benefits.
