Diebold Names New Vice President
Diebold, provider of integrated self-service security systems, recently announced the promotion of Christopher Macey, CPA to vice president, corporate controller. In his new role, Macey will have responsibility for Diebold’s global accounting functions, internal financial control infrastructure and external financial reporting requirements. Macey has over 13 years of accounting and auditing experience and graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s in accounting.
Books-A-Million, Inc. Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
R. Todd Noden, CPA was recently appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Books-A-Million, Inc. Noden has more than 20 years of finance and accounting experience in senior executive roles. He received his bachelor degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University and his Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
New FreeBalance International Steering Committee Chair Announced
FreeBalance, a vendor of Government Resource Planning software, recently announced the election of Dr. Cleopatra Gittens, the Accountant General of Antigua and Barbuda, as Chair of the FreeBalance International Steering Committee. As Chair, she will lead the program for the 2013 FISC Conference. Dr. Gittens graduated from the University of the West Indies and the City University of New York-Baruch College.
