SmartVault, the provider of SaaS document storage and sharing solutions, released today the SmartVault app for the iPad. The new app allows users to search, view and share documents right from their iPad.

“Building out a robust set of applications for mobile devices is core to our strategy and vision,” said Eric Pulaski, founder and CEO of SmartVault. “The ability to work from any location and from any device is essential if businesses want to increase productivity.”

Available for free from the App Store, SmartVault for iPad is designed to help professionals in their efforts to increase mobility and productivity away from the office. The app’s command center allows users to receive and send links to file and email files as attachments. Users can also upload photos of receipts and other images to SmartVault and view PDFs in full screen mode. SmartVault for iPad works with other iPad apps that support the “Open in…” feature, allowing for easier file sharing access between iPad apps.

“Our goal is always to help improve workflow efficiency and make our customers’ work life easier,” added Pulaski. “Offering all the features people love about SmartVault, optimized for mobile access, supports this goal.”
