CCH Recognized for Sustainability Efforts

CCH, Wolters Kluwer business, recently received the 2012 Illinois Governor’s Sustainability Award for a number of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design approved renovations made to its Chicago facility over the past two years. CCH provides tax, accounting and audit information, software and services to tax and accounting professionals.

CCH made several green improvements which included installing high-efficiency roof and power systems, increasing new landscape areas by more than 21,000 feet and creating Sustainability Committee to monitor and measure its advancements. CCH also produces 98 percent of its books and 100 percent of its journals under the Forest Stewardship Council or the Sustainability Forestry Initiative.
