Abeles and Hoffman Names New Senior Tax Manager
Abeles and Hoffman, P.C. recently added Justin Reppy, CPA to the firm as a senior tax manager. Reppy will have responsibility for assisting clients with state and local tax issues and IRS examinations. He graduated from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale with his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Accounting.
Burton & Browse Merges Into Bee, Bergvall & Co
Burton & Browse recently announced its merger into Bee, Bergvall & Co. As a result, the company will now have a larger staff serving Warrington, Doylestown, Lansdale and Newtown, Pennsylvania and Lambertville, New Jersey.
Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell Names New Audit Supervisor
Councilor, Buchanan & Mitchell, P.C. recently promoted Michael P. Uong to audit supervisor. Uong’s area of expertise is nonprofit organizations. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland in College Park.
DeLeon & Stang Selects New Senior Accountant
DeLeon & Stang, CPAs and Advisors recently announced the promotion of Jennifer R. Wilcox to senior accountant. In her new role, Wilcox will provide accounting, CFO and payroll services to for-profit and nonprofit organizations. She graduated from Tidewater Community College with her Associate of Science in Business Administration and is currently attending Strayer University, pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in finance.
Deloitte & Touche Adds to Its Practice
Deloitte & Touche LLP recently announced the addition of Mike Fay and Peter Reynolds to its governance, regulatory, and risk strategies (GR&RS) practice. Fay and Reynolds will provide risk and compliance services to Deloitte’s asset management and banking and securities clients. Fay is a certified bank auditor and certified risk professional and has 13 years of experience with Deloitte from a previous employment with the company. Reynolds has experience managing operational and credit risks worldwide. He is an experienced regulator and served as a credit examiner for the US Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain Names New Partner-in-Charge
Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC recently named Gregory E. Erickson, JD, as partner-in-charge of its Knoxville Tax Division. Erickson will oversee the division’s growth strategy and daily processes of the Knoxville office. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with bachelor’s degrees in economics and English and received his JD from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
Maner Costerisan Names Two New Senior Managers
Maner Costerisan recently announced the promotion of Jeffery Allen, CPA, CGFM and Brandy Terwilliger, CPA to senior manager. Allen has six years of service with the firm and received his accounting degree from Western Michigan University. Terwilliger has prior experience with the firm and worked as a property tax exemption manager for the Michigan Department of Treasury. She graduated from Albion College.
New Mexico Firms Merge
Burgmaier & Helton CPAs and Palmer & Co. PA recently announced the merger of their two firms. The new firm will be named Burgmaier Palmer & Co. and will maintain both offices of the previous companies.
Doeren Mayhew Promotes Managers to Shareholders
Doeren Mayhew recently announced the promotions of Todd Groeneveld, CPA, MSIS and Stephen R. Mihalik, CPA from audit managers to shareholders. Groeneveld has experience serving manufacturers, construction companies and auto dealerships with risk-based assurance engagements. He graduated from Davenport College with his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and received his Master of Science in Information Systems from Walsh College in 2010.
Mihalik has 26 years of public accounting experience in the construction industry. He received his Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh College.
