Two long-standing and highly respected accounting firms, Prager and Fenton LLP and Metis Group LLC, have combined their expertise to form Prager Metis International LLC. The combination, effective since January 1, joins two firms who found their deep-rooted practices to be philosophically and culturally similar.
With over 140 staff and 30 partners in the US and England, the newly-combined practice is one of the nation’s fastest growing mid-sized accounting and advisory firms. The firm will have an expanded national and international presence with seven offices, including locations in New York, Los Angeles, New Jersey, Boston, Florida and England.
Prager Metis International offers enhanced industry expertise, longstanding relationships, and a commitment to providing each and every client with outstanding personalized service. The firm will provide a full slate of services through its four operating companies including assurance, tax and consulting, entertainment based services, computer consulting and financial planning.
“Seamlessly bringing together two individually respected firms with unique qualities is the vision of the future,” said Glenn Friedman, Managing Partner of Metis Group LLC. “Being in the unique position of establishing a co-managing partner structure brings greater depth and leverage of leadership into the firm as a whole. Our aim is to focus on growing our presence both nationally and internationally through new niches, as well as expanding existing niche practices.”
“The combination of these two well respected firms assures that we are forward thinking and ready to take a leading position in the accounting field,” said David Neste, Managing Partner of Prager and Fenton LLP. “As business opportunities continue to become more global, it is with great pride and effort that Prager Metis International delineates itself from the competition as a mid-market firm with bi-coastal and international presence, as opposed to those solely focused on domestic expansion.”
