Greatland Corporation has acquired the brands ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com from Portland, Ore.-based Express Internet Companies. Both are online organizations which provide small and mid-size businesses with W-2 and 1099 forms, as well as custom checks and other banking forms. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com have been in operation since 1997 and both enjoy a national client base. In the weeks ahead, customers of both sites will be transitioned to Greatland and business operations will be relocated to Greatland’s Grand Rapids headquarters
The change will mean an expanded range of product and service offerings for ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com, including full state reporting support as well as software and mobile apps.
No additional positions will be required in Grand Rapids, as existing staff will handle the service and support for ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com clients.
“We are very pleased to be able to welcome ExpressTaxForms.com and ExpressChecks.com customers to the Greatland family. They have been a trusted resource for small and mid-sized businesses for more than 16 years and we are looking forward to building on their established commitment to their customers,” said Robert Nault, Greatland CEO.
“This move reflects our vision of being the national leader in W-2 and 1099 products and services, through organic customer growth and strategic acquisition
Express Internet Companies.com was founded by Tom Brooks and has operated as a successful family business since the late 90s.
“While it is naturally difficult to let go of something I have put so much time and energy into over the years, I know Greatland will take exceptional care of my clients. They are an outstanding company that does business the right way.”
