Thomson Reuters Releases ONESOURCE Indirect Tax in the Cloud

Thomson Reuters announced today the availability of ONESOURCE Indirect Tax in the Cloud. Thomson Reuters provides tax and accounting services and businesses to businesses and professionals worldwide.

ONESOURCE Indirect Tax in the Cloud is designed to provide businesses with the same features and capabilities as the on-premise version, but with a lower ownership cost. Companies of all sizes can now leverage cloud-based computing.

The cloud version is hosted at Thomson Reuters’ secure and certified hosting center. It is subjected to an annual SSAE16 audit conducted by an AICPA-accredited firm and an annual application security assessment, which is conducted by a third-party security firm. In addition, vulnerability infrastructure scans are performed weekly and the solution undergoes a static and dynamic code analysis during its development lifecycle.

With ONESOURCE Indirect Tax in the Cloud, tax and accounting professionals can ensure compliance and greater accuracy while improving cash flow and reducing penalties and overpayments. Users are able to manage the entire indirect tax process including tax determination and calculation, tax research, tax policy configuration, tax results analysis reporting, compliance activities and real-time integration with business applications.
