AICPA Names New VP of Member Learning and Competency
The American Institute of CPAs has named Clar Rosso, CPA as the new Vice President of Member Learning and Competency.

The American Institute of CPAs recently announced it has named Clar Rosso, CPA as the new Vice President of Member Learning and Competency. Rosso will report to Anthony Pugliese, Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer.
In her new role, Rosso will be responsible for growing the AICPA product lines and identifying and developing new products and platforms for the profession. She will lead the Publications, Conferences and Web Events and Professional Development teams, while working to enhance member value. Rosso will work closely with CPA2Biz and the Communications, Marketing, Strategy, People and Innovation teams as well.
Rosso has experience with membership growth, strategy development and managing education. She previously held the role of Chief Operating Officer with the California Society of CPAs and the CalCPA Education Foundation. Rosso received her master’s degree from San Francisco State University and graduated from the University of California, Davis with her bachelor’s degree.
