Accounting, tax and advisory services firm, WeiserMazars LLP, recently announced it has named Ron Ries as Partner of its Not-for-Profit Group in efforts to strengthen its ties to the nonprofit sector. Ries has more than 20 years of expertise working with nonprofit organizations, most recently as Chief Financial Officer at the Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services.

“Ron’s substantial technical and practical experience will be a valuable addition to the firm,” said Douglas A. Phillips, managing partner, WeiserMazars. “His addition reinforces our already strong not-for-profit resources and demonstrates the depth of our commitment to the sector.”

“It’s great to be back in public accounting, leveraging my experience as CFO of a large social services organization to provide the best service possible to other not-for-profit organizations,” said Ries.
