RootWorks, the accounting profession’s premier member-based education firm, today announced it has released its Next Generation Accounting Firm Roadmap on multiple platforms, giving members access via the web and a mobile app. With the NGAF Roadmap and resources, RootWorks members have the tools to help them transform their practices into Next Generation Accounting Firms.
The RootWorks app is available for Apple and Android devices and offers a complete set of resources for members, including:
- The NGAF Roadmap – an interactive step-by-step guide of the 170 items across nine disciplines that RootWorks developed to help accounting firms along a simplified, accelerated path to success. As firms complete items, their progress toward becoming a Next Generation Accounting Firm is tracked digitally. Firm members can also make notes within the application to help with reminders or to-do list items.
- Unique RootWorks Resources – include instructional tools; the RootWorks Resource Center containing hundreds of essential templates for firm documents, letters, and forms; and a comprehensive video library featuring dozens of how-to videos focused on streamlining workflow processes.
- RootWorks Announcements – offer updates on the latest industry trends and insights, RootWorks conferences and webinars, and information on exclusive new resources to help firms achieve elevated levels of efficiency and client service.
RootWorks also has plans to add the RootWorks Connect group, which offers a catalog of conversations among members on a variety of topics. The RootWorks Connect group allows members to exchange ideas, resolutions to issues, custom forms and letters, and more.
“Offering our NGAF Roadmap and other helpful resources across platforms gives professional accounting firms instant access to our proven business model designed to transform their practices into Next Generation Accounting Firms,” said Darren Root, CPA, CITP, CMGA and CEO of RootWorks. “Allowing members to access resources from the device of their choosing, whether that’s their smartphone, tablet, or laptop, further ensures that they will stay on course as they transform their firms into thriving businesses.”
The RootWorks mobile application is available for download at the Apple App Store and from Google Play. All RootWorks resources and data are accessible from both the mobile app and the web-based version and automatically synced across platforms. A free version is also available, providing users with access to the RootWorks blog feed and the RootWorks Thought Leaders newsletter. Firms interested in taking advantage of the full capabilities of the RootWorks mobile app can join RootWorks through their website.
