Thomson Reuters has been awarded the Operational Risk Software Provider of the Year Award by Operational Risk and Regulation Magazine, in this year's Operational Risk and Regulation Awards. This is the second consecutive year that Thomson Reuters has been awarded this achievement.
The Awards recognize achievements in the area of operational and regulatory risk management, honoring companies and individuals that have demonstrated innovative thinking and provided useful solutions to the operational risk management challenges faced by the financial industry.
Thomson Reuters Accelus Risk Manager was recognized for a combination of flexibility and ease of use. According to Operational Risk and Regulation Magazine, “It's easy to focus on the operational risk management purely through the lens of the financial sector, but this year's operational risk software provider of the year, Thomson Reuters, has been successful well beyond the banking industry.”
Thomson Reuters Accelus Risk Manager (ARM) is recognized as a solution that enables clients to strengthen risk assessment processes, quantify and aggregate risks, and engage in a proactive approach to risk management. ARM captures information such as incidents, indicators, assessment responses and scenario analysis data in a flexible and connected way. It is a fully integrated solution – all of the information collected in its range of modules and from across the wider Accelus platform is held within a single data source, creating a single, connected view of risk across an organization. Reporting whether it is on-screen, ad-hoc, or in a formal format, helps risk executives communicate their organization's risk position to the business, senior management and the board.
“We are very pleased to again be recognized at the Operational Risk and Regulation Awards,” said Chris Perry, managing director, Risk at Thomson Reuters. “Over the past year we have been extremely focused on helping our clients solve the immediate problems that they are facing – coping with the new focus on conduct risk, as well as the ability to meet their combined enterprise risk management, Solvency II, ORSA and operational risk management requirements. This award validates the strength and sophistication of our Accelus Risk Manager platform as well as our commitment to delivering market leading solutions that serve the needs of our customers. This is a credit to our loyal customers and our dedicated staff.”
