Richmond-based accounting firm Baldwin CPAs has announced a merger with Eldridge, Jackson & Leedy, PLLC, a professional services firm located in Flemingsburg, KY. The combined firm will retain the Baldwin CPAs name. The merger will add 11 employees- including three partners- to Baldwin CPAs for a total of 39 Baldwin employees.

“We’re excited to welcome Eldridge, Jackson & Leedy, PLLC as we see a great synergy between the two that will allow us to better serve the current and future clients of both firms,” said Alan Long, CPA, CITP, CGMA, Managing Member of Baldwin CPAs.
The merger was effective June 1, 2015, and the firm will maintain offices in Richmond, Flemingsburg, Louisville, Maysville and Lexington.
Baldwin is living proof that the merger frenzy taking place in the accounting profession is not just about the big firms,” said Allan D. Koltin, CEO of Koltin Consulting Group, who advised both firms on the merger. “They have in a short period of time developed a reputation throughout greater Kentucky that that they have the kind of firm where entrepreneurs can thrive and together the combined firm can grow and prosper at an even faster rate. More importantly, the mergers have consistently provided additional value added services for the clients and greater growth opportunities for their people. I would expect to see many strategic mergers coming from Baldwin in the near future!”
“This union will bring a broader range of services and expertise,” said Tim Eldridge, CPA, Managing Member of Eldridge, Jackson & Leedy, PLLC. “We have served our region with professional accounting services since 1987.
