Top 50 U.S. accounting firm FGMK, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, has joined The International Accounting Group (TIAG). The addition of FGMK continues a significant growth trend for TIAG, resulting from its ongoing North American expansion strategy.
Currently, TIAG has 119 member firms and adds more than 150 additional relationships through its affiliation with its sister alliance of independent law firms, TAGLaw and additional relationships through its strategic partnership group, TAG-SP. Collectively, all three groups are called the TAG Alliances™ and provide members and their clients with multidisciplinary support in more than 100 countries around the world.
“FGMK is a significant firm with an exceptional reputation arising from its sophisticated and high quality work,” said Robert Sattin, President of the TAG Alliances. “We have been very impressed with the partners we’ve met and the firm they have built and we are extremely happy to welcome them as a member of TIAG and as part of TAG Alliances. FGMK represents further confirmation that TIAG and TAG Alliances offer Top 100 firms the peers they want to be with and the international, multi-disciplinary strength and excellence that will move their businesses forward.”
“FGMK is proud to become the new TIAG member firm for the greater Chicago metropolitan area,” said Mario Donato, CEO of FGMK. “Combining national firm insight with local firm attention, we guide our clients through complex business challenges by understanding their needs and recommending strategies that give them a competitive edge. We look forward to working with our new affiliates in TIAG to serve the needs of our growing international client base, and welcoming clients of our TIAG affiliates that require our support in and around Chicago.”
“I’ve worked closely with TIAG over the past few years and I’ve seen how elite firms are attracted to this dynamic, multidisciplinary group of firms,” said industry thought leader and M&A consultant Allan Koltin, who worked with TIAG and FGMK on this strategic move. “FGMK is equally as dynamic and both stand to gain immensely from this relationship.”
