A new partnership between accounting and business management software provider Sage and small business cloud computing hosting provider Cloud9 Real Time lets accountants connect with their clients’ data in QuickBooks desktop in a hosted environment.
Sage View empowers accountants to track client performance, accessing key client data from multiple accounting solutions in one place. Sage View offers customization opportunities within screens, reports and KPIs, and further insight and prioritization of follow-up or action items is available with drill-down capabilities. Turning numbers into insights and advice helps deepen the relationship between the accountant and client, positioning the accountant as a client’s most valued and trusted financial advisor.
Sage View may be implemented with the accountant’s current portfolio of solutions, including Sage One Accounting — U.S. and Canadian Editions, Sage 50 Accounting — U.S. and Canadian Editions, QuickBooks desktop U.S. and hosted with Cloud9, and QuickBooks Online U.S.
“In a recent Sage study, we found that 51% of accountants do not have anytime, anywhere access to view, exchange, or update client accounting information,” said Ray Barlow, vice president, Sage Accountant Solutions. “Providing a means to access client data, through hosting providers like Cloud9, enables more accountants to adopt the technology necessary to provide real-time advice.”
Sage View is available to accountants starting at $19.95/month (plus additional fees for Cloud9 Real Time hosting). For more information, including how to get started, please visit: www.sage.com/us/sageview
