ADP is offering accountants and their small-business clients free access to the ADP HR HelpDesk during tax season. This offer is available to accountants nationwide who can also select up to five of their small-business clients (those with fewer than 50 employees) to participate free of charge through April 30, 2016.
ADP’s HR HelpDesk is staffed by HR business advisors who can provide key information on changing regulations and best practices on both routine and complex HR questions.
Navigating through employment laws — such as minimum wage and overtime requirements — can be both confusing and challenging for a small business. In fact, a January 2016 National Federation of Independent Business survey found small businesses identified regulations as one of the most important problems they face today. Many of the issues presented by these regulations can require additional research and an experienced professional to help navigate them.
“As a trusted advisor to small businesses, accountants regularly encounter a wide range of client questions about HR and compliance issues,” said John Ayala, president of ADP Small Business Services. “In addition to the limited bandwidth accountants experience during tax season, the time of year also creates an opportunity for additional HR questions to arise as small businesses look back at the previous year. To help, we are offering the ADP HR HelpDesk as a free resource that both accountants and their clients can access for assistance.”
