Hall & Company CPAs Hires New Senior Tax Partner
Hall & Company CPAs recently announced that Don Dahl has been named as its senior tax partner. Dahl has more than 35 years of taxation, succession planning and mergers and acquisitions experience serving U.S. and international clients.
Illinois CPA Society Honors Longtime Member, Former Chicago Federal Reserve Bank Chair
The Illinois CPA Society recently announced that it has named two of its annual awards in honor of Lester H. McKeever, CPA – the Lester H. McKeever Jr. Outstanding Leader in Advancing Diversity Award and Emerging Leader in Advancing Diversity Award. McKeever is one of the most prominent accounting leaders in the Chicago area. He is an advocate for promoting diversity and providing opportunities for those with limited resources.
During his more than 50 years as a member of ICPAS, McKeever has mentored numerous young professionals of all backgrounds. His extensive background experience includes serving as a longtime partner in a local firm, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, past Board Chairman of the Chicago Urban League and former member of the ICPAS’ Board of Directors and a founding member of the CPA Endowment Fund of Illinois. McKeever has also served on the city government’s finance committee under mayors Harold Washington and Richard M. Daley. He graduated from the Chicago Kent College of Law and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
XCM Solutions Names New SVP of Sales
XCM Solutions, LLC recently appointed Alesa Gibson as its Senior Vice President of Sales. In her new role, Gibson will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of XCM’s sales in public accounting and corporate markets. Gibson’s experience includes several senior leadership roles, leading high performing sales teams, consistently driving strong results, and managing strategic relationships to generate long term revenue growth. She received her bachelor of arts in Business Marketing from Oklahoma State University.
CohnReznick Appoints Three New Members to Its Executive Board
CohnReznick recently added Keith Denham, Michael Monahan and Scott Sachs as the newest members of its Executive Board. Denham, managing principal and national director of CohnReznick Advisory, has more than 20 years of experience helping companies manage and balance their economic growth, challenges opportunities.
Monahan, office managing partner for CohnReznick’s Long Island office, has more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience. He has served in the technology, retail, consumer products and manufacturing and distribution industries, providing advisory service for acquisitions, divestitures, raising capital and initial public offerings.
Sachs, regional managing partner for CohnReznick’s West Region, has more than 25 years of experience working with privately held and public companies. He has worked in high technology, manufacturing and distribution, retail and consumer products, apparel, biotechnology, and franchises industries.
