New President at Sageworks
Sageworks, a financial information company that provides banking solutions and financial analysis technology to accounting firms, has announced that Jay Blandford has been promoted and will now serve as the company’s president.

Sageworks, a financial information company that provides banking solutions and financial analysis technology to accounting firms, has announced that Jay Blandford has been promoted and will now serve as the company’s president.
Blandford has been with Sageworks since January 2016 and has most recently served as chief revenue officer, overseeing the company’s sales organization. As president of Sageworks, Jay will provide overall leadership in sales and client services, oversee the day-to-day execution of strategic objectives, develop and implement the company’s goals and strategic direction and evaluate new market opportunities.

Prior to joining Sageworks, Blandford spent 12 years as executive vice president of sales and business development at Parata Systems, a McKesson Technology Partner and the leader in pharmacy workflow and automation. Before his time at Parata, Blandford held revenue-driving positions at OraSure Technologies, Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield and Paychex. Hallmarks of his career have included creating dynamic growth and introducing paradigm-changing technologies. Through these positions, he has spent 20 years scaling companies’ revenue engines.
Blandford earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, and he is completing the Executive Scholars Program in Sales & Marketing at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He currently resides in Raleigh with his wife and three children.
