Inc. magazine has ranked Florida startup, E-file.com, as the 79thfastest-growing private company in the country. The “Inc. 5,000″ is published annually and developed by ranking companies based on their cumulative growth. E-file.com’s growth rate since it launched in 2013 is 4,641.5 percent.

This achievement puts E-file.com in rare company, joining an elite group of businesses—such as Microsoft, Domino’s Pizza, LinkedIn and Zillow—that have been included in the list over the past 36 years. Co-founded by North Florida natives and UNF College of Business graduates Aaron Rosenthal and Robert Reynard, E-file.com offers income tax preparation software that provides an efficient online filing process with faster refunds and lower fees than the majority of tax preparers.

“We are proud to be recognized with such a prestigious group of companies,” said Aaron Rosenthal, co-founder and director of marketing for E-file.com. “It is not only wonderful recognition for E-file.com but it also helps demonstrate that North Florida is a great area for starting a business.”

The company’s placement on the “Inc. 5,000″ supports WalletHub’s 2014 endorsement of the First Coast, which ranked Jacksonville as the no. 1 city in the country to start a business. E-file.com is one of two North Florida companies to crack the top 500 of Inc. magazine’s list.

This achievement continues an impressive trend for E-file.com, as it was recognized by the Jacksonville Business Journal as the area’s fastest-growing company in 2016, then again making its list at no. 16 in 2017.

Inc. magazine publishes the top 500 companies in its September print edition, which will include E-file.com. The companies outside the top 500 will be recognized in the digital edition that can be found online at www.Inc.com/inc5000.
