FloQast, Inc., a provider of close management software created by accountants for accountants to close the books faster and more accurately, announced today the appointment of Wynn White to the post of chief marketing officer.
In this new capacity, White will oversee the company’s global marketing initiatives, helping create further awareness of and drive demand for FloQast’s innovative close management software.
White brings more than 25 years of tech-related marketing experience to his new position, particularly in the marketing of business-to-business enterprise software.
Most recently, White was chief marketing officer at Druva, an endpoint data protection and governance SaaS solution. Earlier, as vice president of marketing for Birst, a cloud business intelligence provider recently acquired by Infor, he established and scaled the company’s global marketing efforts. Prior, Wynn built and led marketing and product management for KACE, a fast-growing systems management company, acquired by Dell. As vice president of worldwide marketing, White was instrumental in driving the rapid growth, as evidenced by expansion of the customer base from 300 to more than 3,000. Prior to joining KACE, he was vice president of product marketing, security and management products for Oracle, where he spent more than a decade. White also held senior marketing roles at Oblix, an identity management company, and BEA, a middleware company, both of which were acquired by Oracle.
“Wynn’s decades of marketing experience in the technology sector and B2B software, including serving in key marketing roles at both industry leaders and startups, makes him a great fit for this new position,” said Michael Whitmire, CPA, co-founder and chief executive officer at FloQast.
“FloQast’s growing awareness and adoption amongst corporate accounting teams is helping fuel our 40% quarter-over-quarter growth. Wynn’s proven ability to establish and scale global marketing teams and operations will help us sustain this rapid pace. We welcome him to the company and to this new role,” Whitmire concluded.
White added: “FloQast is front and center of a dynamic market opportunity. Close management software is the future for corporate accounting teams, and FloQast is leading the charge. With $25 million capital recently raised, coupled with a roster of customers representing some of the world’s fastest-growing companies, it’s a marketer’s dream to help FloQast become a household name amongst corporate accounting teams. I couldn’t ask for a more exciting job.”
White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of California, Berkeley.
