CYMA Payroll is just one of the payroll options available from CYMA. Though CYMA Payroll is designed for the mid-sized business with more than 100 employees, CYMA also offers additional payroll options designed for franchises, staffing businesses, and payroll service providers, as well as for PEOs, staffing firms, fiscal agents and ASOs. CYMA Payroll can be utilized as a stand-alone payroll solution, or coupled with other CYMA modules for extended product functionality.

Traditionally offered as an on-premise application, the product can now be hosted in the cloud if desired. At this time, there are no mobile apps available to access CYMA Payroll.  

CYMA Payroll easily supports multiple pay frequencies including Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annually, and Annually and support multi-state payroll processing as well. The product also features an easily navigated user interface that offers access to all installed modules as well as quick access to a variety of reference materials.

Users can choose to enter payroll from the Enter Payroll screen or utilize the Enter Quick Payroll option which allows users to view all clients that payroll needs to be processed for and quickly enter any pay data and make any changes as needed. CYMA also offers after-the-fact payroll functionality through an add-on module. CYMA offers tax tables for all 50 states, as well as Washington DC, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

CYMA offers excellent reporting capability, with a variety of payroll related reports available. All reports are categorized with Employee, Company, Entry, Client, and Current Period reports available, as well as several other categories. Clicking on the category will display all reports available in that category. All CYMA reports can be easily customized using Crystal Reports. All CYMA reports can be viewed on screen prior to printing, printed, emailed directly from the screen to recipients, exported to Microsoft Word or Excel, as an HTML or XML file, or saved as a PDF.

CYMA Payroll automates the entire tax reporting process, including federal reports such as 940,941, and 943, along with state and local tax reporting. All tax and reconciliation reports can be filed electronically where permitted, with CYMA offering both E-File and E-Pay capability. An optional state payroll add-on is available that will automatically fill out all required state tax forms. CYMA also offers good integration with third-party applications that offer front office solutions, timekeeping capability, hosting, and embedded solutions such as Aatrix for state and federal form processing.

CYMA Payroll easily imports time and attendance data from most timekeeping systems, or users can opt to import employee information in a CSV file format. CYMA Payroll integrates seamlessly with other CYMA modules which include GL, AR, AP, HR, System Manager, Employee Self-Service, and a host of others. Users can purchase modules individually, as needed, and CYMA Payroll can be used as a stand-alone payroll application if desired. The Employee Self-Service module offers employees easy access to check stubs and W-2’s, and employees can be given the option to enter time online, if provided with the proper permissions.

CYMA’s Human Resources Management Software module offers excellent HR and payroll management capability, including applicant and applicant tracking, an employee self-service option, employee benefits management including an auto-enrollment option, tracking employee performance, and certification management and tracking capability. The module also offers excellent HR reporting options.

Help and support options in CYMA are easily accessible directly from the application interface, where users can access the CYMA Reference Manual, Getting Started materials to guide new users, a list of product features and available tutorials, as well as direct access to product support. Software maintenance and technical support subscriptions are available as well.

CYMA offers a variety of payroll options including standard payroll for businesses with at least 100 employees, along with Staffing Payroll, Service Bureau Payroll, and Franchise Payroll, as well as several other options. Well-suited for mid-sized businesses and accounting firms alike, CYMA can be used as a stand-alone application, or in conjunction with other CYMA modules. CYMA pricing varies, depending on modules purchased, and is available upon request.
