CPA Practice Advisor, the source for news, software reviews, and best practices advice for members of the accounting profession, has launched a new and free weekly newsletter specifically directed at tax preparers.

The Tax Practice Advisor newsletter includes information and advice geared specifically toward the population of tax preparers, reaching beyond the CPA audience.

“The CPA Practice Advisor website, newsletters, and monthly magazine provide resources for the small to medium sized CPA and accounting practices,” said Gail Perry, CPA, editor-in-chief of CPA Practice Advisor and Tax Practice Advisor. “We determined that there is a gap in the information marketplace for tax preparers who aren’t necessarily CPAs, who might have seasonal practices, and who still need the relevant and timely information that we provide to our accounting audience.”

The first issue of the Tax Practice Advisor newsletter will mail on November 2, and can be viewed or subscribed to at https://www.cpapracticeadvisor.com/mailing/tpa/11/02/2017.

“By offering a weekly newsletter specifically to our tax preparer audience, we can hone in on news, reviews, and tools that can truly help build and improve the practices of our tax preparer community,” said Perry. Published weekly, the Tax Practice Advisor newsletter will not only offer its readers up-to-date information on the tax preparation profession at both the federal and state/local levels, but will provide reminders of important deadlines and legislation that will keep our readers informed.
