What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

The Association gives me the unique and amazing opportunity to meet and speak with practitioners from all firm sizes. Giving these CPAs a voice within the walls of the Association is so important to me. Spending time with real-life practitioners and creating a collaborative environment is critical to ensuring the Association delivers solutions that will truly have an impact.

Favorite books/websites/speakers that you find influential:

I have so many favorites! My most recent read was Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. The book encourages women to give themselves grace while living with passion. It’s so good!

What do you see yourself doing professionally in 10 years?

The profession is evolving at a staggering pace! It will be so different in 10 years! My hope is that I can continue to be a voice in the profession and help shape initiatives that will enable practitioners to thrive in the future. I want to continue to be involved in conversations that provide strategies, resources and tools for CPAs.

What accounting conferences do you normally attend?

The Association’s ENGAGE and Women’s Global Leadership Summit are two favorites that I try to attend annually.
