Boomer Consulting, Inc. has joined forces with The Business Learning Institute to develop the Anticipatory Accelerator, a two-day workshop aimed at helping accounting firms accelerate their success in predicting the future and identifying game-changing opportunities. Boomer Consulting is a provider of unique consulting services, peer-led communities and thought leadership for the accounting profession. BLI is a strategic learning partner and talent management consultancy for organizations worldwide.

Recognizing that many accountants hesitate to attempt anticipating client wants because they haven’t been trained to think exponentially, the Anticipatory Accelerator will help accountants become adept at using strategic foresight to identify hard trends and related client service opportunities.

The workshop is designed for accounting firm leaders who are interested in learning how to reduce uncertainty and confusion around creating and delivering high-value services for their clients. Each attendee will come away from the Anticipatory Accelerator having learned packaging and pricing strategies for new services, discovered non-traditional resources for building their teams, and learned how to communicate their services through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

“In a world of exponential change, the question we are hearing from firm leaders is, ‘Are we moving fast enough?’” said Tom Hood, CEO of the Business Learning Institute. “This program is designed to elevate and accelerate their transformation to get ahead of this change and stay ahead.”

“Firm leaders are under pressure to identify how, when, and what to change in their current business model to remain competitive in a changing world,” said Sandra Wiley, president of Boomer Consulting, Inc. “The Anticipatory Accelerator will help leaders create a roadmap and a plan that will jumpstart their firm of the future.”

The workshop is scheduled for Nov. 5-6, 2018 at the Accounting Innovation Center in Kansas City, Mo. It will include eight hands-on sessions that will focus on using hard trends, transforming business models, building talent resources, managing projects, scaling a practice, and building a technology foundation.
