AuditFile, Inc., developer of award-winning cloud-based audit automation has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) as an active participant in the EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Framework. The self-certification is part of the Company’s continuing commitment to meet the highest standards for privacy and security.
The Privacy Shield Framework gives companies a means to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data from the EU to the US. The certification signifies compliance with the Framework’s stronger data protection obligations, formal redress for individuals, and rigorous controls.
