Baker Newman Noyes Announces New Leadership

Baker Newman Noyes, one of the nation’s top 100 accounting and advisory firms, recently announced the appointment of Dayton Benway as Managing Principal. In addition to leading the firm, Dayton will also continue on in his role as director of the firm’s healthcare advisory group. Dayton succeeds Carl Chatto as managing principle; a role he has held since the 2016 retirement of firm co-founder Eleanor Baker, and will continue to serve Baker Newman Noyes clients as a principal in the firm’s audit practice.

PKF International Announces New CEO

PKF International, a global network of accountancy firms that operate in 150 countries has announced that James Hickey will succeed John Sim as the new CEO. Prior to his appointment, James had served as the CEO of the Alliot Group since 2012, and has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, finance, talent management, and multi-jurisdictional client relationship management.

Friedman LLP Announces New Partner

Friedman LLP, a 2018 Top 100 Accounting Firm recently announced the addition of a new tax partner in its Manhattan based headquarters. Jay Graham has more than 25 years of experience in tax services and compliance. In addition to being named partner, Jay also conducts in-house training and teaches courses for the Tax Executive Institute.

 

Gumbiner Savett Inc. Announces 2019 Promotions

Gumbiner Savett Inc. a full-service accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Santa Monica, CA recently announced the promotion of five employees, including the following:

1.     Sugam Singhal, CPA – promoted to Audit Manager. Sugam has been with the firm since 2014 and has over eight years of accounting and audit experience.

2.      Imee Pascual, CPA – promoted to Audit Senior. Imee has been with Gumbiner Savett since 2017 and has a Master of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge.

3.      Michelle Qin, CPA – promoted to Audit Senior. Michelle has been with the firm since 2017 and is a graduate of the University of Southern California.

4.      Young Kang – promoted to Tax Senior. Young joined the firm in August of 2018 and is a graduate of the University of California, Riverside.

5.      Paul Sussman – promoted to Tax Senior. Paul has been with Gumbiner Savett since 2016 and is a graduate of San Diego State University.

Armanino LLP Announces New Office in Seattle

Armanino LLP, one of the top 25 largest accounting and business consulting firms in the U.S., announced the addition of a new full-service office in downtown Seattle to better serve both existing and new clients in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle office will offer tax, audit, and consulting services to the region. In addition to the new Seattle office, Armanino currently has offices in Dallas, TX, Naperville, IL, and multiple locations in California including San Ramon, San Francisco, San Jose, Los Angeles, Woodland Hills, and El Segundo.
