Rachel Polson, partner with Baker Tilly and leader of the firm’s software and technology practice, has assumed the role as the 2019-2020 chair of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants (MNCPA) board.

Polson has been an active member of MNCPA for almost 20 years and previously held the board treasurer position and was a member of the General Industries Review Task Force and Leadership Committee.

Our CPA certification is invaluable and an honor to hold,” Polson wrote in her first message to the membership. “I also look forward to connecting with my fellow CPA members to hear your ideas on how the MNCPA can support the CPA profession in remaining relevant and thriving.”

Polson works with a variety of clients from development stage to public reporting (SEC) companies. In 2009 and 2014, she was recognized as one of the “Top Women in Finance” by Finance and Commerce and as one of the “Women to Watch” for Women in Business by Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal in 2011.
