Starting October 1, 2019, blumshapiro will occupy 5,000 square feet of prime office space in the heart of the city’s business district at 100 Front Street, according to Brian Renstrom, blumshapiro’s Managing Partner of Massachusetts.

[Editor’s note: The firm intentionally uses a lowercase spelling of its name.]

blumshapiro currently has offices in Boston, Quincy and Newton (MA), as well as in West Hartford, Shelton and Marlborough (CT) and Cranston (RI). This new space in Worcester will be able to house as many as 25 people initially. In total the firm employs over 450 people, and offers auditing, accounting, tax and business advisory and outsourcing services to a wide array of clients across numerous industries.

“We are very excited to become part of the Worcester business community. The make-up of businesses in central Massachusetts is very closely aligned with blumshapiro’s areas of expertise. As an economic engine for central Massachusetts, Worcester will provide us with the ability to grow and service our clients locally while giving us the opportunity to attract local talent and become more meaningfully involved within the community,” Renstrom said.

blumshapiro CEO Joseph A. Kask said, “Our expansion into central and Western Massachusetts strengthens blumshapiro’s standing as the largest regional business advisory firm headquartered in New England.  Worcester will provide us with a platform for our firm’s expansion while affording us access to top talent and a vibrant business community.”
