There are so many systems on the market that are designed for accounting firms or for small businesses to use directly, which is testament to the importance of payroll to modern businesses and the need for firms to provide this service to their clients. Cloud-based systems now automatically update payroll tax rates and other factors, taking much of the pain out of payroll, making it much easier to keep employees and clients happy, and maintaining compliance with state and federal agencies.
