Schneider Downs Announces Two Promotions

Schneider Downs, one of the top certified public accounting and business advisory firms in the U.S. recently announced the promotion of shareholders Doug J. Morally, and Justin C. Steele.

Doug J. Morally joined Schneider Downs in 2004, and has 14 years of public accounting experience serving a variety of clients. Doug received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Mercyhurst University and is currently a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.

Justin C. Steele joined Schneider Downs in 2017, and has more than 13 years of private and public accounting experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was a tax manager for a big four public accounting firm.  Justin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh and his juris doctorate from Duquesne University Law School and is currently a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association – Tax Section.

DHG Welcomes Gareth Montague-Smith as Partner

Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, (DHG) a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, recently announced the appointment of Gareth Montague-Smith as a Partner in the DHG Raleigh, North Carolina office. As partner, Gareth will provide internal audit and other accounting and advisory services to a variety of clients in the public and private sectors.

Gareth joins DHG after serving as a Risk Consulting Managing Director in the advisory services practice of a Big Four accounting firm in multiple North Carolina offices.

David Goldstein Joins EisnerAmper as Director of Business Development

EisnerAmper LLP, one of the largest professional services firms in the world and a premier accounting and business advisory services firm, recently announced that David A. Goldstein has joined the firm as a Director of Business Development for the Financial Services Group. Goldstein will specialize in hedge funds, private equity funds, alternative investments, capital markets and business consulting and has more than 20 years of experience in business development, relationship management, and fund operations.

David will be based at EisnerAmper’s New York City office, and currently holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant University. He serves on the University’s Alumni Association, mentoring current and recently graduated students. He is also the author of “Going Global,” which appeared in the HFM Week U.S. East Coast Report.
