Lincoln Fleming, CPA, CFP® – 2019 20 Under 40 Honoree

I began my career in the wealth advisory groups of PwC and Goldman Sachs in San Francisco and London where I provided tax, financial planning, and wealth transfer services to high net worth individuals and families.

I am currently a member of Canopy’s leadership team and lead a team of tax subject matter experts who research, build, and test all of the logic and rules for Canopy’s tax resolution and tax preparation software products. I am fortunate to work alongside and learn from world-class accountants, engineers, product managers, and designers, all focused on making the lives of tax accountants easier and solving their pain points. 

I am a CPA and CFP and have earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting from Brigham Young University.

I will be forever indebted to the great mentors I have had at BYU, PwC, Goldman Sachs, and Canopy. I am grateful for the things they have taught me and for the many opportunities they have given me, including opportunities to earn relevant credentials, scale both onshore and offshore teams, and work overseas.

The most important work I do is at home, where my wife and I are the proud parents of five children.
