Accounting Firm DHG Donates $48k to Alzheimer’s Association

More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease – the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States. More than 16 million family members and friends provide care to people with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Dixon Hughes Goodman, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, has donated $48,811 and volunteered more than 500 hours to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in its 12-month Charity of Choice corporate social responsibility campaign. DHG team members across the firm collectively voted to donate time and dollars to the Alzheimer’s Association throughout the 2019 calendar year. The funds collected will go towards Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

DHG team members collectively contributed more than $30,000 to the National Alzheimer’s Association Walk by organizing teams across the firm’s footprint. The firm participated in interactive fundraising activities during its “November Month of Giving” campaign and attended Alzheimer’s Lunch and Learn sessions in local offices to raise awareness about the disease and participation in the campaign.
