The Information Technology Alliance (ITA), an independent membership association of leading mid-market technology professionals, consultants and product/service providers in North America, has announced new appointments to its Board of Directors. Jules Carman, Head of Global Strategic Alliances for Accountants at Sage, and Paul Blowers, CIO at Plante Moran, have been appointed as ITA Board of Directors Chair and Vice-Chair, respectively.

In their new roles, Carman and Blowers join incoming ITA Board members Kim Austin, Business Development Manager, National Accounts at Intuit, and Todd Perlman, President, Business Technology Partners, LLP. Austin and Perlman join existing Board members David Hirschkorn, CIO and Principal, Eide Bailly LLP, and Dominic Pernai, Director-Midwest, ETHOSystems.

The ITA Board works collaboratively with staff members Shawn Slavin, ITA President, and Lissa Johnsen, ITA Vice-President.

“Our new Board slate, including Jules and Paul in their leadership roles, brings an impressive bench of knowledge, experience, and perspectives to ITA governance, during these most interesting and challenging of times,” said Slavin. “I have great confidence, as we continue to navigate a worldwide pandemic and other curveballs that 2020 has delivered, that this well-represented Board of Directors will optimistically and responsibly guide ITA into its next chapter.”

The ITA will convene for its Fall Virtual Collaborative from November 9-11, 2020.
