Sarah Bradley, CPA – 2020 40 Under 40 Honoree

Career highlights:

With immense gratitude toward the smartest and kindest CPAs I met in the decade I spent with the AICPA’s Personal Financial Planning Section, I joined in partnership with Dirk Edwards to form our new practice Edwards Bradley PC in February of this year. Together, we help individuals and families align their financial resources with what is most meaningful and important to them through integrated, personalized, objective planning and tax services. 

What are you doing to make a difference in the profession, your community, the world?

2020 has been a year – one that has felt out of control; yet at every twist and turn, there have been opportunities to love, to be kind, and to care for others. In focusing on the opportunities in front of me this year – from being my children’s teacher to helping small business owners and families navigate the financial effects of the pandemic, my hope is that I have had a meaningful impact.

The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy has had a meaningful impact on me and deepened my connections with others this year when distance has never felt so far. Its message and illustrations embody vulnerability, connection, kindness, and hope. It’s one of those books that you can pick up, randomly flip to a page, and find the exact words you need (or that someone you love may need) in that moment.
