Verifyle, a provider of secure messaging, file sharing and digital signatures, has partnered with the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), association of certified public accountants in the United States. CalCPA helps its members to be viewed as leaders in professional competency and integrity by clients, employers, the public, and government officials. Verifyle has been chosen to provide ultra-secure document sharing, messaging and digital signature technology for CalCPA members beginning in January 2021.
“We knew that our members needed a more secure way to exchange financial information with their clients. Especially now that many of them are working remotely,” said Denise Bethel, Director of Member Value and Partnerships. “Verifyle is a great choice for CalCPA because of its proprietary security and its simple design that literally anyone can use.”
“Verifyle is important for CalCPA because accountants need a secure and remote way to share and receive their clients’ sensitive documents and financial information,” said Jack Smith, CEO of Verifyle. “This partnership allows CalCPA members to collect documents and digital signatures while keeping their clients’ data private and secure. We are proud that CalCPA chose to partner with Verifyle as a way of helping their members communicate more securely.”
Unlike many other cloud-storage and cloud-sharing services, which use a single master key for encrypting and decrypting their users’ data, Verifyle’s Cellucrypt® technology uses password-derived keys on top of a public-key system to individually encrypt data objects, adding several additional layers of protection for their users. With the additional option to disable password reset, Veriyle becomes the most secure cloud-sharing platform available, while remaining extremely simple to use.
CalCPA traces its heritage to 1903 when the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants was organized. In 1909, it merged with two other state CPA associations to form CalCPA. CalCPA serves more than 45,000 members in public practice, private industry, academia and government, and has 14 chapters across California. CalCPA also offers more than 1,400 live courses, conferences, webcasts and on-demand self-study courses annually.
Verifyle delivers ultra-secure messaging, document sharing, and digital signatures, all from a simple, single-screen interface. Verifyle was built from the ground up to be the most secure cloud-sharing solution, and to deliver improved productivity and control of information to its users. Verifyle’s industry-leading, patented encryption technology gives users the highest level of security, protecting them from bulk-access vulnerability through the unique encryption of each document and thread.
