Texas Society of CPAs Announces 2020-2021 Scholarship Recipients

The Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) announced the recipients of the organization’s 2020-2021 academic scholarships. Each year, TXCPA’s Accounting Education Foundation honors Texas accounting students with scholarships for their academic achievements.

Since 1957, the TXCPA Accounting Education Foundation has distributed more than $5.8 million to promote, develop and advance accounting education in Texas. Through donations from Texas CPAs and interest on endowed funds, the TXCPA Accounting Education Foundation awards approximately $136,000 annually in scholarships to the top students enrolled in accounting programs in the state.

The Texas Society of CPAs (TXCPA) is the largest, most influential association of accounting and finance professionals in Texas, dedicated to supporting one another and promoting and protecting the value of the CPA designation. Founded in 1915, the society advances the accounting profession in Texas from influencing policy and regulation, to shaping the perception of CPAs across the state. With 20 local chapters and 28,000 members, TXCPA has one of the largest memberships of any CPA society in the U.S.
