Nathan Wechsler & Company Managing Director Elected Chair of Leadership New Hampshire

Nathan Wechsler & Company, PA recently announced that managing director Oreste “Rusty” Mosca, CPA was recently elected as the chair of Leadership New Hampshire’s Board of Trustees. He has served on the organization’s board of directors since 2015.

Mosca joined Nathan Wechsler & Company in 1987 and currently serves as the firm’s Managing Director. Mosca holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. His professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Hampshire Society of Certified Public Accountants (NHSCPA). Mosca also serves on the boards of directors for the Capitol Center for the Arts, CATCH Neighborhood Housing, and the Amoskeag Health.

Leadership New Hampshire (LNH) is a 10-month program that brings together a group of talented and accomplished individuals to learn about issues local to the state, connect with one another, and discover ways to serve their communities in positions of leadership and responsibility. BerryDunn Announces Leadership Promotions and Appointments, Chandler Honored

As BerryDunn enters a new era of leadership with the announcement of new CEO Sarah Belliveau, the firm is also announcing promotions, appointments, and an organizational restructuring effective July 1, 2021.

Board of Directors: BerryDunn has elected Kathy Parker to a three-year term on the Board, replacing Tim Masse, who is completing his second three-year term—the limit for consecutive terms. Kathy will join Sarah Belliveau and incumbents Charlie Leadbetter, Dave Erb, and Tammy Michaud to comprise the new Board effective July 1, 2021.

Principal Promotions: Continuing on the firm’s long history of creating strong leadership from within, BerryDunn is excited to announce the following six individuals who have been promoted to Principal:

Danielle Ewing Nicolle Field Ryan Gough Brandon Milton Emily Parker Kevin Price Quality Assurance Principal Todd Desjardins becomes BerryDunn’s Quality Assurance Principal (QAP) effective July 1, 2021. Todd takes over the QAP role from Tracy Harding, who is now Chair of the national Auditing Standards Board (ASB).

John M. Chandler Learning & Development Center announced. The Management Committee voted to name the new training room facility in the Portland headquarters office the John M. Chandler Learning & Development Center, in recognition of Chandler’s 22 years of outstanding leadership as the firm’s Managing Principal/CEO.

Austin Joins BKD as a Global Tax Integration Practice Partner

Scott Austin has joined BKD CPAs & Advisors’ National Tax Services (NTS) division as a partner in the firm’s international tax practice. Austin will lead BKD’s Global Tax Integration (GTI) practice formed in early 2021.

Austin brings to BKD more than 25 years of experience helping clients understand and solve tax issues related to doing business across borders.

Having formerly served as a vice president of corporate tax and senior tax counsel for more than 10 years at a listed Fortune 500 company, Austin brings extensive experience in building and operating a tax department that efficiently provides tax provision, compliance and tax risk management while integrating the tax function with rapidly changing business operations.

Austin has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Missouri State University and a Juris Doctorate in Law from Emory University and has recent experience as an international tax partner in an international firm.
