Accounting Firm BPM Elevates Eight to Partner
BPM LLP, one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, has announced eight new partners: Jamie Emerson-Heery, Rono Ghosh, Meredith Johnson, Kemp Moyer, Ryan Musser, Javier Salinas, Will Tanem and Catherine Wong.

BPM LLP, one of the 50 largest public accounting and advisory firms in the country, has announced eight new partners: Jamie Emerson-Heery, Rono Ghosh, Meredith Johnson, Kemp Moyer, Ryan Musser, Javier Salinas, Will Tanem and Catherine Wong.

Emerson-Heery co-leads the firm’s Wine and Craft Beverage Group and serves on the Board of Directors at Ceres Community Project and Naturally North Bay. With more than a dozen years of public accounting experience, he works with companies primarily in the winery and vineyard land and consumer products industries. Emerson-Heery guides his clients through complex transactions from business combinations and brand acquisitions to equity incentive plans, while also providing valuable insight on industry best practices for streamlined financial reporting.
Ghosh has more than 20 years of advisory experience, with specialized knowledge of international tax and the technology sector. Possessing a unique blend of skills in international tax and corporate finance, he has advised clients on cross-border issues, including long-term international tax and intangible property planning and global structuring.
Johnson has deep experience in the accounting, financial planning and analysis, project management and business development arenas. With a particular emphasis in estate planning and business succession, she works with clients on a holistic approach to taxation, coordinating the needs of diverse stakeholders, managing multi-stage projects, and synthesizing complex data. Johnson serves as secretary and treasurer for the Board of Directors for the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), and she was previously president of CalCPA’s San Francisco chapter.
With more than 15 years of experience in complex financial advisory, and a primary focus on valuation services, Moyer has led hundreds of business and asset valuations in his career with substantial industry experience in technology, life science, professional services, food and beverage, digital assets, manufacturing, and consumer business, among others. Moyer’s valuation experience includes M&A and IPO preparation and support, fairness and solvency opinions, and litigation support and dispute resolution, among other high impact analyses. Moyer has grown and developed BPM’s Valuation team, which is a key part of BPM Advisory’s Corporate Finance Group.
As leader of the firm’s Consumer Business Industry Group, Musser provides attestation and advisory services primarily to businesses in the consumer products space. He also has expertise in SEC reporting, business combinations and similar complex accounting areas. Musser serves on the board of directors for the ICA Cristo Rey Academy and Naturally Bay Area, both in San Francisco.
Salinas is a distinguished international advisor whose clients rely on him to navigate complex cross-border tax planning and structure multinational operations. His clients range from startups to global, multinational companies in a wide spectrum of industries, including technology, blockchain and digital assets, e-commerce, FinTech, life science, manufacturing and distribution. Salinas received his JD MBA from the University of Huston Law Center and College of Business. He is also an adjunct professor in the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation Program at the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Tanem leads BPM’s Technical Accounting Group, serving as an advisor for both public and private companies in Silicon Valley and the larger Bay Area. He guides clients through the implementation of new standards, accounting for business combinations and complex transactions, and prepares clients for initial public offerings through IPO Readiness services.
Wong has more than 15 years of public accounting experience in tax compliance and consulting for private clients with international issues, such as corporate executives living abroad, multinational families with closely held businesses, and domestic and foreign trusts. She assists clients with tax planning for in-bound U.S. real estate investments and individuals immigrating to or expatriating from the U.S.
